1. Claiming a listing
Any clinic listed in our directory may claim its listing free of charge via the verification process: either domain-email magic-link verification or document upload (business card, medical license, or utility bill showing the clinic address). Verification protects patients from impersonation and ensures we only deliver lead contact details to legitimate clinic representatives.
2. Lead delivery and use
When a registered patient submits an inquiry through our directory:
- The full inquiry (treatment, urgency, patient name, contact, optional message) appears in your in-app inbox.
- If you have alerts enabled (Standard/Featured tiers), you'll also receive an email or SMS notification.
- You may use the lead information only to (a) respond to that specific patient's inquiry and (b) maintain a record of communications for your standard medical-record retention purposes.
- You may not add patients to mailing lists, marketing automations, or any communications unrelated to their specific inquiry without obtaining additional explicit consent directly from the patient.
- You may not resell, share, or transfer lead information to any third party.
3. Response-time expectation
We ask claimed clinics to respond to inquiries within 5 business days — either with a substantive reply, an acknowledgement and timeline, or a referral elsewhere. Repeated non-response may result in a "Slow to respond" indicator on your public listing and, after persistent inactivity, removal of the verification badge.
4. Anti-kickback compliance
The Fertility Link charges flat tier fees only. We never charge a percentage of treatment fees, per-procedure commissions, or per-converted-lead fees. This structure is intentional to comply with anti-kickback principles in both Canada (provincial regulatory frameworks) and the United States (federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law). Clinics may not pay us per-lead or per-conversion fees; if asked, decline and let us know.
5. Tier subscriptions
Free claim
- Unlimited incoming leads in your in-app inbox.
- Reply through our system or your own email.
- Edit listing information (services, photos, doctors, hours).
- Standard alphabetical placement in directory results.
Standard (CAD $79 / USD $99 per month)
- Everything in Free, plus:
- Email and SMS lead alerts.
- Lead analytics dashboard (volume, treatment mix, response rate).
- "Standard partner" badge.
Featured (CAD $249 / USD $299 per month)
- Everything in Standard, plus:
- Priority placement above Standard and Free listings in matched search results.
- "Featured partner" badge.
- Specialty highlights (LGBTQ+ programs, trans-affirming care, etc.) called out in your card.
- Multi-user account access (up to 5 clinic staff).
- Custom branding on profile (logo, color accent).
- Quarterly review with our team for listing optimization.
Tier fees are billed monthly. Cancel anytime; tier reverts to Free at the next billing cycle.
6. Listing accuracy
You agree to keep your listing information accurate, including services offered, contact details, waitlist estimates (when supplied), and pricing ranges. If a listing becomes materially inaccurate and is not corrected within a reasonable time after notice, we may flag the listing as "Information may be out of date" until updated.
7. Termination
You may delete your claim and revert your listing to "unclaimed" status at any time by contacting hello@thefertilitylink.com. We may remove or revoke verification of a listing that violates these terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify The Fertility Link against any claims arising from (a) inaccurate or misleading information you supply for your listing, (b) misuse of patient lead information, or (c) your clinical care of patients introduced through the Service.
9. Limitation of liability
We do not guarantee any specific volume of inquiries. We do not endorse clinics, and clinic listings are not testimonials. Subject to applicable law, our total liability to a clinic for any claim is limited to the tier fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
